MARCH:	Early Childhood Experiences in the Garden for Springtime Spend the evening at the Children’s Discovery Garden exploring nature from a child’s point of view. Garden staff will share some tried and true garden activities for spring, resources and tips for gardening with preschoolers as well as field trip opportunities in the garden. JUNE:	Early Childhood Experiences in the Garden for Summer Workshop: Wednesday, June 18 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Wegerzyn Gardens MetroPark Spend the evening rediscovering summer from a child’s point of view. This hands-on workshop takes place in the Children’s Discovery Garden and will include fun ideas for creating plant-centered experiences for young children. Topics covered include art & craft projects, sensory discovery and vegetables/cooking. Handouts and booklists will be provided. In case of rain this workshop will be held indoors in the Wegerzyn Center Auditorium.
