Request for Papers for Dayton's Young Children
The Dayton’s Young Children peer-reviewed journal is an official publication of DAYC.
The Dayton’s
Young Children committee is accepting articles for future publications
Research Based
Articles should be
submitted to the Research Editor, Scott Siegfried at:
scotts@mvcdc.org
Research based articles should:
- Contain 2,500 words max
- Submitted in a Microsoft Word Document
- Include a Reference List in APA format
- Include any signed copies of the
DAYC photograph release form if any photographs are included with the
submission.
- Include a photo of the author of
work submitted.
- *All research based articles
are subject to peer-review editing and modification.
- *Submission of an article does
not guarantee it’s acceptance for publication.

General Articles
including workshop training schedules should be submitted to the Editor
at:
Diana.Smith@notes.udayton.edu
General Articles should:
- Contain 1-2 pages max
- Submitted in a Microsoft Word
Document
- Include the original copy of
DYC’s photograph release form if any photographs are included with the
submission.
- Include a photo of the author of
work submitted.

Space in
Dayton’s Young Children may be purchased for advertisement, notices of
position openings, and other services. Rates will vary based on
advertisement size and profit. Please contact the Editor at
Diana.Smith@notes.udayton.edu for advertising rates and details.
All advertising submissions
should:
- Contain a size specification
(full page, 1/2 page, 1/4 page or 1/8th=business card size)
- Submitted in a Microsoft Word
Document
- Include the original copy of
DYC’s photograph release form if any photographs are included with the
advertising submission.
- *All advertisements are subject
to modification.
- *Submission of an advertisement
does not guarantee it’s acceptance for publication. Acceptance will be
determined based on available space and other factors.
